Cats And Other Pets
This may at first glance seem like an unusual page to include on a removals website, however as an animal lover myself (two dogs) I decided to include it. If you are not a pet owner, or if you are in a hurry, please feel free to skip this page.
On more than one occasion I have arrived to carry out a removal, only to hear a cat owners' partner inform me that the owner is in bits because their cat has gone missing, something which must be devastating and a worse case scenario situation for any pet owner.
It would seem, that cats are a little more sensitive than dogs to the changes going on around them in the build up to moving day. That is why I recommend that clients who are cat owners, be extra vigilant during the build up to moving day and maybe consider keeping their cat indoors close to moving day and indoors for a few days whilst they settle into their new homes.
I am able to move cat towers, empty fish tanks up to 5ft in length, clean vivariums, clean bird cages, dog runs and dog baskets (bedding must be bagged).
Please note, that clients are required to arrange alternate transport for their pets and livestock. The reason for this is that relocating pets requires a special license and a different type of insurance to the goods in transit insurance that I have for moving furniture.
