I began my working life as a mobile windscreen technician working for Auto Glass. Whilst working there my main duties included replacing windscreens for clients at their homes. I later went on to specialise in windscreen repair carrying out windscreen repairs in car dealerships and from under a sign written canopy at sites such as Cheshire Oaks and Broughton retail park.
A change of career lead me to working full time at Pickfords Removals Chester depot. Pickfords Removals did then and still do offer a full packing and unpacking service. Somedays, I would be packing all day during the build up to a move, as opposed to loading furniture. So, any questions you may have in regards to the packing process, I would be happy to share what I have learnt about how to protect fragile items like plates and crockery.
Fast forward to present day, I am an independent furniture removals specialist who gets a lot of job satisfaction out of helping people move to pastures new, or just safely into storage.
When I am not out on the road, I enjoy spending time with my partner and our two dogs. I took up the hobby of clay sculpting back in 2020. There's so much you can learn online and sculpting figures out of clay is something I continue to work on in my garden shed, or the man cave as I call it. I also have a gym membership, but sometimes I don't need to go.
