Hello my name is Gareth Walker, I am an ex- Pickfords removals employee who is now the owner, driver / loader at Eze Move, an affordable man and van removals company covering Cheshire and Flintshire.
What you can expect from me on moving day is the peace of mind you get from knowing that you are trusting your move to an experienced mover who has received removals industry training and most importantly of all, to someone who enjoys his job and will always turn up once a booking has been confirmed.
I run a self pack service, by that what I mean is that my clients pack their own boxes and I take care of the physical side of lifting and loading when I arrive on moving day. This includes placing everything in the correct rooms in the new property.
Whilst I do not currently offer a full packing service, what I do offer is a shrink wrapping service, ideal for those clients moving into storage over winter and require an added layer of protection for their fabric sofas, mattresses and appliances in order to prevent condensation getting in which can lead to mould.
Whilst I do not offer general handyman services such as plumbing repairs, or hedge cutting, (for those tasks, I recommend contacting a certified tradesman) I do offer a limited handyman service tailored to towards assisting clients with jobs around the home and garden during the settling in phase of their moves. Perhaps my flat pack assembly, or my picture hanging service would come in useful.
Over the course of the days leading up to moving day, there are clients (able bodied) who prefer to dismantle their own beds and furniture and then reassemble them in their own time once I have placed furniture in the correct rooms for them.
There are also clients who would prefer to leave it to me to dismantle and reassemble their furniture for them. There is a surcharge for this add-on service, which can be included in your removals quotation.
Most items of furniture do not need to be dismantled in order to be moved. The most common item that I dismantle would be beds, the second most common, flat pack triple wardrobes as they almost always need to be dismantled before they can be moved.
Solid wood triple wardrobes are different, they often come in two halves with a base on the bottom and a wardrobe on top. Unlike flat pack furniture, they are sturdy enough that they do not need to be dismantled before being moved. The exception to this would be lf the doors were mirrored, if they are, it is best to remove them temporarily whilst in transit and use bubble wrap and cardboard to protect them.
The affordable quotations I offer are fully inclusive, so you will know the exact cost of your move, well before moving day.
No Hidden Charges. No Surprises. Just good service !
My name is Gareth, feel free to get in touch whichever way is most comfortable for you.
