Windscreen Courier

Windscreens / Vehicle Glass is notoriously difficult to post anywhere using a standard courier service. Even when boxed and bubble wrapped a windscreen could easily become damaged if not supported in a glass rack. This is a specialist courier service aimed at helping E bay buyers, classic car owners and businesses to all get the windscreens, bodyglass and trims to where they need it, when they need it.

 

I use a heavy duty windscreen rack, straps, foam and padded blankets to transport windscreens. The largest screens I tansport are van and commercial truck windscreen screens, but not coach screens.

 

In order for your glass to be transported, upon arrival a glass inspection would first be carried out. This is a fully insured service and all new glass which passes inspection is covered under insurance. I do also transport used windscreens, however transporting them is lot more risky than transporting new glass because even the smallest scuff to the glass edge sustained when it was extracted from the previous vehicle could easily become a crack during transportation however carefully I handle it which is why when I transport used vehicle glass it too must be inspected.  

 

If a used screen already has a stone chip or any other obvious impact or crack damage this will be marked on the inspection sheet and pointed out. I would still be prepared to transport the screen and I will do my best to protect it, but, if the chip or the crack on the screen spreads during transportation, I will not be liable for the breakage as it will have I am moving something which very fragile which has already had its structural integrity compromised.
