Garden Ornament Relocation

During the pandemic when the whole country was not allowed to move house incase it spread the virus I took up the hobby of making of and restoration of, stone garden ornaments. Something which I do in a workshop in my spare time. Offering garden ornament relocation as a standalone service is a new service for 2023. A unique service which I am offering to my clients because I move ornaments and statues of all sizes in my day to day life and I am accustomed to making sure they arrive safely. I've always had a soft spot for quality garden ornaments which is why I chose to learn more about them.

Talking to clients on the move, they tell me the stories behind the statues they own, some were wedding presents some are family heirlooms and however many times they move they never want to leave any of them behind. If you are already have a booking, rest assured, I will be taking care of your much loved statues like they were my very own.

There have been occasions where clients have gotten their keys before moving day and decided to get a headstart on their moves by having me move all of their garden ornaments, plants and outdoor furniture over to their new property a day or two before moving day itself and it has worked out well for them. This service exists to make life easier for clients with early access to a property who think along similar lines and would prefer to get all their statues and plants moved over early to their new property, so that they can focus on just moving everything from inside the house on moving day.

Clients are also welcome to use this new service, for no other reason than they fancy a reshuffle of their garden ornaments and they would like it doing with care by someone experienced. I use a padded sack truck, a piano dolly, slings and padded foam to move statues. Once on the van, statues are blanketed, clients are welcome to bubble wrap their most treasured pieces and in the case of ceramics bubble wap or something similar is an essential.

Moving garden pots and plants is also a service I offer. I have a 10ft towing trailer which I sometimes use for transporting large plants. It makes it easier to load them and as opposed to being crammed inside a van, transporting large plants (10 ft max) using a towing trailer significantly lowers the risk of any damage to their leaves and branches.

My affordable quotations are fully inclusive, so my clients know exactly how much my garden ornament relocation service will cost well before moving or reshuffling day.
